Mr. Krishna D. Uttekar born in Chiplun on 12th June 1968, with 34 years of experience in printing, He has completed his Education in 1983. He has worked for almost 16 years in Step in Process, Pune.

He was always ambitious about setting up his own business.

He formed "Kiran Process" in 2001 with a Two Adsat Dominant Single Colour Machine and One 20 X 28 Single Colour Offset Machine and now adding Ryobi 12 X 18 Four Colour Machine in 2016. Kiran Process has developed greatly under his leadership. Now he is own factory premises.

Mr. Krishna Uttekar has been on the post of director in 2009 - 2010. He was also work in various committee during his term and has been appointed as Vice President since 2016.

Mr. Sunil D. Kadam

“Mr. Sunil Kadam is a B.A Graduate from savitribai phule pune university, pune.He is working in printing Industry since 1984.”

He have 33 years’ Experience in printing, publishing, retail, printing Materials. He had completed printing job with the help of bolts. He had worked in composing letter-press, pre –press, offset printings in 1984 to 1996. He is looking after Mudran Sahitya Bhandar Activitys .He confirms products specification, arranges adjustment and monitoring of the products.

He maintains the quality of products and Ensuring deadlines. He is a manager of THE POONA PRESS OWNERS ASSOCIATION Ltd. (PPOA) from 20 years. He is managing all things with the help of their Employees. He has good communication with their employees.

He is managing all requirements regarding the organization. He has various skills, which is necessary for this business. He is responsible for day to day work or activity regarding organization. He faced many challenges in this business, success as well as failure .The diverse challenges of managing a business, ‘make the task demanding but highly rewarding ‘.

Mr Sanjay A. Sawant

Mr Sanjay Atmaram Sawant born in Chiplun on 16th March 1969, with 34 years of experience in printing, He has completed his Education in 1984. He has worked for almost 13 years in various companies like 1985-90 at Albert Press, Mumbai, 1990-92 at Scanna Colour, Mumbai, 1192-97 at Screen Well, Pune.

He was always ambitious about setting up his own business. He formed "Image Graphics" in 1997. After successfully running his business 2 years he merged his business in Image CTP. Now he has 3 Kodak Image setter Machine with high configuration and daily 2000 plates capacity.

Mr. Sanjay Sawant has been on the post of director in 2017. He was also work in various committee during his term.

MR. RAVEENDRA D. JOSHI

Mr Raveendra Joshi is a Law Graduate from ILS Law College, Pune. Right from the beginning he was active and involved himself in his father’s printing unit M/s Shree J Printers. After completion of his B.Com, he enlarged his business by introducing new latest equipment and machineries and established the present United Multicolour Printers Pvt Ltd, a commercial printing house with pre press to post press. In the present format the press is catering to all multicolour jobs and also accepting jobs from other areas.

He was Secretary and President of The Poona Press Owners Association ( PPOA) which is more than 96 years old. The PPOA is also in collaboration with TOYO printing ink manufacturers as well as platemakers, purchasing in bulk from them and further selling to printers in Pune and neighbouring areas at a very low margin of profit.

Mr Joshi was the Hony. General Secretary of AIFMP during 2010-11. He was instrumental in organising the Printers Conference, “The Romanching Print 2011” during February 2011 at Hotel Park, New Delhi. This event was well attended by who’s who of print community marking this as the benchmark to organise such future conferences.

Mr Joshi served AIFMP in various capacities. After joining AIFMP in 2007, he organised GC meeting in Pune 2008-09, Chairman-Sukanya Uphar Committee, 2011-12, Chairman- Constitution 2012-13, Organising Secretary 8th NAEP 2013, Member - Planning Cell 2013-14, Co-Chairman - Constitution 2013-14 and Hony. Editor - Printing Times 2014-15. He was also adjudged as Best GC member in Kolkata GC 2011.

Mr Joshi is also a Free Masonry and member of Lodge Lesslle Wilson 488 ,Pune.

Mr. Shekhar Dhumal

Myself Shekhar Sambhaj Dhumal, Proprietor "OMKAR PRINTING & BINDING" My first precedence is Binding and then Printing. I started my journey in 1988…. Initially, I took up a job and my career started off… after two years of service, I got an opportunity and could start a partnership firm "ABHIJAT BINDING", after six months of hard work & sincere efforts I could start my second unit of plate making with the camera "ABHIJAT PROCESS".

On gaining success in the second unit I could start my third binding unit at Dattawadi, especially for 4 divisions of SSC Board i.e. Nashik, Pune, Kolhapur & Latur. Due to disputes with the partner regarding Finance and technical knowledge, I discontinued the partnership and decided to take up another job.

From 1990 I took up a job, where I was initially appointed as an operator. I was promoted to a supervisor within six months due to my hard workmanship. Thereafter I was promoted to a marketing manager within two years of service. I was dealing with a lot of Government organizations, Semi-government organization. I was engaged in the Tender activity. I was gaining success in the tender business one after other every success was a feather in my cap which gave more and more confidence and made me a successful employee.

Then I once again I realized, that I can start my own business and do the very best which I was doing as an employee. I immediately registered my firm "OMKAR PRINTING & BINDING" IN 1999. I started our business as a service provider. I continued to serve in the job till 2004, for 14 long years, but then realized that should fully concentrate on my business, therefore resigned.

In 2005, I purchased my own premises at Narhe of 3000 Sq. Ft. I started the unit with 15 skilled labors and 10 unskilled labors. A well-equipped setup of 2 Folding machines, 2 perfect binding machines – 1 six clamps and 1 single clamp, 1 Casing-in machine, 2 Gally machines - 1 Automatic & 1 Semi-Automatic, 2 stitching machines – one 4 head & one single head, 3 knife cutting machines 42", 1 swing 17"x17" machine, 1 Tunnel Shrink machine, 1 Hand ruling machine, 1 Index punching machine, 1 Fully automatic Wiro 20" machine with 4 power press

Mr. Ajay Gujarathi

An alumnus of the National Model School of the iron fisted Principal N. D. Nagarwala and a Fellow of Nowrosjee Wadia College, Director (1996-2003 and 2016-till date) Ajay Gujarathi is responsible for many strategic Decisions in The Poona Press Owners Association Ltd.

Born in Pune on 13th October in a very well-known business family known as the Sugar & Oil Kings – Narayandas Govinddas and Chimanlal Govinddas, He started his printing career in 1987 by incorporating Ajay Offsets Pvt. Ltd. and still continues to be its guiding force.

He is a multi-faced person and is known for his leadership and administration.

He has served as President and Secretary of the Royal Connaught Boat Club for many years. He has also served on many Lions District Cabinet Posts. He is a Life member of the International Association of Lions. He is also associated and a member of Pune Gujarati Bandhu Samaj, The Pune Gujarati Kelavani Mandal, Punjabi Cultural Association, Mahratta Chamber Of Commerce, Ladies Club Ltd., Deccan Gymkhana Club, P. Y. C. Hindu Gymkhana, Royal Western India Turf Club, The New Club (Poona) Ltd.,Western India Automobile Association, Y. M. C. A. etc.

Mr. Kishor P. Gore

Kishor Prabhakar Gore, Born in 3rd of June 1980 in Pune, Completed his Graduation in Commerce and Primary and Secondary Education from V.S. Satav High School, Wagholi Pune.

He grew in a business environment since 1985 after his father started a small printing press unit of the name “Vinod Printers” at Vadgaon Sheri, Pune. With a Tradel Machinary purchased from Dainik Kesari.

After completing the education he joined the father’s business and took the all responsibilities of business since 1998. From November, 2014 Vinod Printers started its operations at Shaniwar Peth, Pune in rented premises with a Swift 10 X 15 Offset Printing machine then onwards the journey started and now there is no looking back. Now, He is working with 2 Color printing machine 15 X 20 Ryobi, 4 color printing machine 15 X 20 Shinohara, 1 color 20 X 30 Heidelberg machine and digital press in owned premise.

He co-opted as a director in PPOA in the year 2016. Now, He is an elected Director for 3 years from 2017.

Mr. Vinay R. Kalaskar

Over his working experience of 25 years in the printing industry, Mr. Vinay Kalaskar has truly given justice to his name by being leading, humble and modest. After earning a diploma in Printing Technology from MIPT, he got an opportunity to enhance his skills in the printing world in Middle East, Sharjah, UAE. This productive period of an international job experience was a milestone of his career and further inspired him to become a successful entrepreneur. He established 'Bit Bytes', a now well-known firm in the area of Graphic Designing and Printing services.

Mr. Vinay explored a way of socializing through 'The Media Club' and became acquainted with various Advertising Agencies, Newspapers, Freelance Artists and various Printing Presses. He has always been the centre of attraction due to his immense love for Cricket. Owing to this passion of his, he has led many Cricket tournaments as a captain and always exhibited a spirit of sportsmanship. His leadership quality and his problem solving skills have been beneficial to him as well as his peers. In the year 2009, he started Avishkar Industries, a well-equipped Printing Press. His progress over the years portrays tenacity and perseverance towards his work.

Mr. Vinay joined 'The Poona Press Owner's Association' as a full-time member and later took charge as the Secretary for the year 2015-16. Over his tenure in PPOA, he availed a financial aid of 5 lac through MSME for the tour to International Drupa '16 exhibition for 35 members. His wide experience and quick-witted nature make him a great Education Secretary, consequently, he puts efforts in bringing together all the members towards a memorable 100 years of the association. Mr. Vinay is a lively soul with the power to handle responsibilities and tackle the toughest of situations, turning every opportunity into a golden opportunity.

Mr. Tirthraj J. Joshi

With 21 years of robust experience in the field of printing, Mr.Tirthraj Joshi, is a trusted entrepreneur and is highly proficient in the language of printing.Born and brought up in Pune, he has a Diploma in Printing Technology.

Mr. Jerome Mathews

I,Jerome Mathews, a self-made Catholic businessman, is one of the largest and highly reputed Offset Printers in Pune today. After a stint with DataCom office services, Pune from 1986 to 1991, started Repro Prints in 1991 with a basic table-top xerox single colour offset machine. I later opened shop on Taddiwala Road, near Pune station in 1996 with additional three xerox machines. I carried out printing jobs . My genuine work and excellent service gradually earned me more and more clients. In 1998 I upgraded to a single colour 18" x 25" offset machine. In 2002, I graduated from single colour printing by investing in a 2 colour 18" x 25" offset machine. In 2009 I finally took the plunge in the big league with my first 4 colour offset machine. I was able to take up much bigger jobs. In 2011 I replaced my semi-CPC machine with an auto-plate, 4 colour offset machine. In 2015 I added a state-of-the-art CTP (computer to plate) machine which improved Repro Print's efficiency and performance by leaps and bounds. My latest acquisition now in 2016 was an additional 4 colour offset machine which is fully automatic with auto-plate and auto-wash features. Both these machines are each capable of printing 12,000 copies of 18" x 25" sheets in 1 hour flat. I operates from a 2,000 sq ft premises at Kasba Peth in Pune with 16 workers in two 8-hour shifts. I have around 5 loyal workers who have been with me for the past 18 years. My wife Elizabeth is Repro Print's chief designer who handles all the preliminary work before going to the press.

Mr. Deepak M. Dholepatil

Mr. Deepak Madhukar Dholepatil founded Shivani Printers in the Year 1995.He is a Graduate in Commerce and has spent 5 Years studying Plate-Making in Dadar, Mumbai. After obtaining all the knowledge and the skills required, he got hands-on experience in other arenas of the Printing Industry. He then worked in the Plate-Making business for another 10 Years. His aim was always to start his own Business, which led him to establish his Printing Business, Shivani Printers in the year 1994. At that time he started off the business in the basement of his Residential complex on Dholepatil Road with an old Single-Colour Swift Offset (15"x20") along with Screen Printing. Being the very driven businessman that he is,he started expansion of his business at a two fold pace and shifted the press to Kasba Peth to an area of 300 Sq. Ft.Owning 3 single color machines namely- MAXPRINT(23"x36"), PADMINI( 18"x 23") and ( 20"x 30") After this, there was no stopping him, Shivani Printers is now spread over an area of 5,000 sq. ft. in Kasba Peth which is fully equipped with Pre-Press and Post-Press Machinery.

he Pre-Press segment includes a cutting edge Fujifilm Luxel VX-9600 CTP machine which delivers high Quality Plates for Printing. Having an in-house CTP unit, the work process is much faster. It also includes a conventional UV Plate Exposing machine and a Manual Developing Unit for Manual Plate Making. Recently he has also added an Epson SureColour P8000 for Polijet Plates which makes it economic for printing Black & White Material. With all of these included in his Pre-Press Department no work has to be Outsourced. This Unit includesa total of 6 employees, where 2 people operating the CTP machine on Computers and 2 people on the Machines to do the side tasks.

Shivani Printers proudly owns 3 4-Colour Printing Machines and 2 Single-Colour Machines which covers a wide range of Sizes and therefore a variety of Printing Services can be provided according to the reqirements of our Clients. The 4-Colour Machines include the Heidelberg PM74 (20"x30") which comes fully loaded with semi-automtic Plate Change to reduce press make-ready time. The other two machines belong to the well renowned Japanese Company Shinohara namely Shinohara 66 Series (18"25") and Shinohara 52 Series (15"x20") which are aslo both fully loaded and come with Semi-Automatic plate change. The Single Colour Machines include two Heidelberg Machines with sizes 25"x36" and 20"x30" respectively. Having these sizes it is very easy to print Black & White Material especially books whit a large number of pages. This Unit includes a total of 10 Employees, where one person is responsible to operate the machine and has helpers for the other side tasks.

The Post-Press Segment is also diverse and includes variety of services. It includes 3 Perfecta Cutting Machines of size 36 Inches. Including an in-house Binding unit including 2 Floding Machines of Shoei of sizes 23"x36" and 20"x30" and a Wellbound Prefect Binding, which take care of Bookwork Jobs with ease and deliver well finished Books for the Clients. It also has 2 Creasing Machines for Diary Jobs and variety of other jobs. Also including 2 Stitching Machines and Pinning Machines which are again used for binging books. Shivani Printers also has a Lamination Unit for various lamiations according to costumer requirements. Other Services such as Perforation, Gluing, Serial-Numbering, Pasting, ect is done here. A lot of Labour is required in the Post-Press Unit and has a total of 20 employees.

His upbringing is done in Pune, and he holds 12 + years of experience in the industry. He is one of the youngest board of director and aims to serve PPOA our esteemed institute with dignity. His consistent efforts and devotion towards association has rewarded him by choosing Secretary from 2016 till date. Earlier he has worked for education section of PPOA wherein he organized various educational seminars for our printers with advance soft wares. Further he worked as an editor for ' Mudran Prakash', with same enthusiasm. Mr. Atul V. Shrotri

With 31 years of experience in printing, Mr. Atul Shrotri has completed his diploma in printing from MIPT in 1987. He has worked for almost 14 years in various companies such as Parkson, Sakal printers, Business India and Nandadeep.

He was always ambitious about setting up his own business. He formed "N R Enterprises" in 2001 with a Two colour machine and Packaging set up. Over the years, N R Enterprises has developed greatly under his leadership. Now in their own factory premises of 8000 sq' has couple of Four colour machines, Two colour machine & all in house facilities with full binding setup.

Mr Atul Shrotri has been on the post of director in 2012 - 2014. He was also the Editor of 'Mudran Prakash' during his term and has been an active member of the Poona press association since then.

Krishna Raghu Jagade, Born in 15th August 1971, in Ambed, he completed his graduation in commerce from Jedhe College & ITI in Printing Technology (Aundh), Part time Diploma in YCMOU.

He started his carrier in a Job at Smita printers (Pune) as a manager, Sakal paper (Kolhapur) as a production manager, Alert Dtprinters as a General manager.

Now he is working at Madhuraj Printers PVT Ltd., Pune as a General manager. He also like social working in his personal life and help to need of someone. Mr. Mohan H Phadtre

Mr. Mohan phadtre. born in pune on 19th march 1976 with 18 years of experience in the printing field. is been 17 years since he started varad printers.and still continues to be its guiding force.

Mr. Prakash R. Badgujar

Mr. Prakash R. Badgujar is one of the well-known personalities in the printing industry in Pune and the surrounding region. He is the owner of Narmada Offset-a leading manufacturer of calendars and allied printing products.

In 1977, he completed his Diploma in Printing Technology from MIPT, Pune and joined one of the largest printing press in Pune. During the span of 19 years of his service, he achieved a number of remarkable achievements. He was the only person who was selected for the offset machine operating training program in SWIFT Machine Company in 1979. There after he was again selected for the training program of HMT company in Kochin (Kalmasari) in 1985. All these training programmes helped him enhance his technical and personal skills. However, his inner instinct of being an entrepreneur led him to leave the secured jobs and started his own business in the name of ‘Narmada Offset’. It was a turning point in his life. The printing unit was started with some simple machines like Swift and Mudrika. Now a days, Narmada Offset is equipped with a Four colour Ryobi 3304 HA Auto plate, Two colour 25x36 size Heidelberg SORDZ machines, a single colour 25x36 size Heidelberg SORD, a single colour 19x26 size Komori and a 10x15 size Swift machine and for post press operations, six clamp Welbound perfect binding machine and Shoi 25x36 auto knife machine have also been set up.

Mr. Rahul Dattatray Marulkar

Completed Printing Education from Pune Vidyarthi Gruha’s MIPT, College of Printing Engineering and Management Education (MDBA) from Institute of Management Development & Research (IMDR) in 1995. Having learnt several subject from the Stover’s of the Industry, start looking after the family business established by my father Dattatray Marulkar in 1970.

Associated with Printing of hundreds of Books, Publications of various prestigious institutions in and around Pune. Mainly famous as “House of Govt. Forms” in all over Maharashtra for supplying various forms and stationary items to Irrigation and PWD Department.

With the strong support of highly educated Life-partner Mrs. Shweta who is handling the most important part of Finance; as well as taking care of our child Yash completing Architecture and Om completing secondary education vary intelligently.
